Inspiration Trip - Part Two

Hi Everyone!
I am back with Part Two of our Inspiration Trip.
So after we had lunch we stopped at "Utrecht" which is an art supply store.
We were all kind of disappointed - we were expecting more.
I was hoping it would be like Dick Blick which is awesome

Then we headed back uptown to Tinsel Trading
You really should go to their website and click on "about" and read how their business started - it is very interesing.
I was there two weeks ago and the windows changed since then.

This week it was decorated for Halloween.
But they never forget their vintage roots....
and wouldn't you love this piece of furniture for your craft room...
some pink heaven....
and a couple more white pictures...

Regina found a friend...
i found a few awesome "deals" which are few and far between here...
soft as snow velvet!!!
MORE!!!! boullion!!!
pictures do this NO justice - it is magnificent!
I bought one more "goodie" which i will leave as a surprise!!!

BOO!!!  on top of vintage heaven....
Tinsel Trading is having a Halloween Party
In case you cannot read the fine print - If you show up in costume
(Friday, October 29th between noon and 6PM)
You receive 10% off your purchase - Refreshments served!

After Tinsel Trading we stopped at M & J Trimming (http://www.mjtrim.com/)
A fabulous store full of trims, buttons, flowers, rhinestones, etc.
at prices to set you back a little, but worth the trip
a miniscule sampling...
one of my favorites...
After this it was time to go home.
Ellen took the train and the rest of us took the bus.
It was a great day and everyone truly enjoyed themselves.
We are a very "eclectic" group of people that share one thing in common -
our love of "artbooking" and crafting and opening our horizons
to new adventures.
This was the largest group (12) in the three years and it worked out great.
Our plan for next year is to do the Holiday Windows, Bryant Park Shops, have a fabulous lunch and a lot more....
Here's to hopes and dreams for Inspiration Trip #4 2011!!!!

Hugs and More,
Peggy

p.s. I have another post with some great fall foliage and more....
