THANKSGIVING WEEKEND - #1

Happy Thanksgiving once again to everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend
filled with all the things that make you happy!

Mine (ours) was great!
I drove up to Connecticut on Wednesday -
it was a beautiful drive
and everyone was home!!!
The girls were off from school so it was so much fun
to see them as soon as I got there.
Danielle was in total control of the cooking, etc.
and was actually relaxing when I arrived!!!
That was a pleasant surprise.
I played with the girls and helped Danielle (very little)
I was admiring her gorgeous table which was not completely
set, but I have to show you what she made...
these gorgeous napkin rings...
this beautiful table runner...
which matches her new window treatments in the dining room
(she had these made)
they really came out beautiful
There is a great place in Bridgeport, CT
called The Barn (http://www.thebarn.com/)
and they have gorgeous fabrics and make everything
(window treatments, pillows, duvets, etc).
This is the stuffed cabbage cooking (yum-o)
and this is Ellie dancing at the end of us watching
Mamma Mia...
(she is using the remote as her microphone)
see that cute little "tush" moving....
tada!!!!!
we were working on a puzzle also...
Ellie got to lick the beaters from the delicious
chocolate cake Danielle was making...
such a cutie.....
and while all this was going on Marlie was
doing her nails....
Marlie is at the "don't take my picture" stage
And that was it for Wednesday
(basically)
Noel went out with some friends at night,
so it was a girls night
Ellie got to have her sleepover with Grandma
which is ALWAYS the best....

I will continue with Thursday in the next post.

Hope your day before Thanksgiving was this much fun....

Hugs and More,
Peggy
