My Weekend - So Exciting!

The anticipation was amazing...
The excitement was so exciting...
The expectations far exceeded anything I had imagined...
Marlie in "The Nutcracker" from her ballet company!!!
She is a dream and a graceful, elegant dancer...
Unfortunately, we were not allowed to take ANY pictures
Here is one picture before she left for her first performance...
her perfect bun...
Ellie was so excited for her big sister...
after Marlie and Danielle left, Ellie and I had some
time until we had to leave...
Ellie being silly...
and after her bath and "massage", she was ready to go!
(notice no more cast - it is off - she has to wear a
soft cast for two weeks - then have an x-ray -
and hopefully return to gymnastics - she really misses it!)

Here is Marlie after her performance
She is GLOWING!!!
I do believe Marlie was meant to be a dancer...
Her poise and posture and performance were
simply incredible.
So proud of you sweetheart!!!
So that was Saturday night
There were two more performances on Sunday
and another three performances next weekend!!!
I lot of preparation, practice and hard work,
but so worth the effort...

Sunday brought us back to Sunday school for a Chanukah show
It was very cute
Each grade sang three songs...
Here is Ellie...
the picture is not very clear!!!
And here is Marlie...
Then it was off to our Sunday performance
(I am so lucky I got to go two times!!!)
It meant a lot to me to be at opening night!
For the Sunday performance we were seven!!!
Then back to Noel and Danielle for lunch and dessert.
Jake was a visitor too and he just keeps getting cuter...
Marlie adores him...
Then she had to return to the final performance of the weekend
Only Danielle went for this performance.
Besides all Danielle has to do to get Marlie ready,
she also helps out backstage with hair, make-up and costumes.

We lit the Menorah with Ellie and Noel...
Ellie made this Menorah last year in nursery school...
Noel is saying the prayers and Ellie and I are each
lighting a Menorah...
A few more pictures of the lighting...
Me and Ellie...
and Ellie took this photo...
she did a great job...

It was a simply wonderful weekend...
Hope you all enjoyed your weekend...

Until next post I leave you with this...

"MEMORIES
ARE A WAY OF HOLDING ONTO THE THINGS
YOU LOVE, THE THINGS YOU ARE AND
THE THINGS YOU NEVER WANT TO LOSE!"

Hugs and More,
Peggy
